3909 Kettle
Michael Graves designed the famous Whistling Bird or 3909 kettle for Alessi in 1985 and its baby blue handle and maroon bird was an instant best-seller and set an aesthetic tone for home at the time. Now we’ve got an upgrade from the mind of the late, great Virgil Abloh who reimagined the iconic kettle with its inimitable Memphis shape and styling as only he could. Both art piece and functional kitchen tool, this limited-edition model pays homage to basketball and it’s cultural symbolism and has been revamped with brilliant pops of royal purple. Virgil, we miss you.
